Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF)

01

What is it?

CEF’s mission is to reach children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, disciple them in God’s Word and connect them with a local church. Trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, and churches and provide a weekly, fun-filled 60 to 90-minute experience that involves worship, Scripture memorization, a mission story and games/activities that support the teaching.  Each club includes a clear, age-appropriate Gospel presentation. During vacation periods, CEF presents 5-Day Clubs in local neighborhoods as an outreach to kids in the area.

Where is it?

Cornerstone supports several CEF Good News Clubs at schools in Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Buena Park and Garden Grove.  Contact missions@cclb.org to find the school nearest to you.

How can I get involved?

Serve

There is a place for believers of all ages and abilities to be used by God at a Good News Club.  Volunteers are vetted (those over 18 with a background check) and trained by CEF to lead or serve at a Good News Club.  All volunteers must sign the CEF statement of Faith, abide by the policies of the organization and pass a background check to participate.  Email missions@cclb.org to take your next step.
